Introduction
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how 52weekx ("the App," "we," or "us") handles your information when you use our local-first application for weekly activity planning. It also explains the limited situations where you can choose to share technical diagnostics with us to help improve stability.
Local-First Data Storage
Primary Storage: By default, all of your data (including weekly plans, photos, blog entries, or other user-generated content) is stored locally on your device.
Local Security: Because data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. We recommend using password protection, biometric authentication, or other security measures.
Backups: You can manage or remove any backups from your chosen third-party service.
Optional Account Creation
Account Features: If you create an account, we may collect minimal personal information—such as your name, email address, and (optionally) a profile picture. This enables additional features (e.g., cross-device sync, personalized settings, and sharing).
Account Deletion: You can delete your account at any time. Doing so removes any personal information from our servers. Local content on your device remains until you choose to delete it.
Information We Collect
Crash logs & diagnostics (optional): If the App crashes, you may see a prompt asking whether you want to send us a crash report. These reports are never sent automatically and only include technical information needed to understand what went wrong (such as error messages, app version, and basic device/OS information). We do not use these reports to identify you personally.
Server-based searches: When you perform a search within 52weekx, your query is sent to our server to retrieve results. We do not attach your identity to these queries, and we do not build behavioural profiles from them. Queries may be briefly processed and logged for security and abuse prevention, then deleted or aggregated.
How We Use Your Information
Account-related data (if applicable): If you have an account, we may use your personal information to provide account-based features like cross-device synchronization and restoring your settings.
Diagnostics & reliability (optional): If you choose to send us a crash report, we use that technical information solely to investigate the issue, fix bugs and improve stability. We do not use these diagnostics for marketing, advertising or user profiling.
Sharing and Disclosure
By Your Choice: If you sync your data to Google Drive or any other cloud service, your information there will be governed by that provider's privacy policy and terms.
Third Party Links: The App may contain links or integrations to external sites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these services. Review their policies before deciding to use them.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Local Security: Because data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. We recommend using password protection, biometric authentication, or other security measures.
Online Sync: If you upload data via an optional sync feature, we employ standard encryption and security measures. However, no internet-based system is completely secure.
Children's Privacy
52weekx is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 16, please contact us.
Your Rights
Under applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information
